Digital Signane vs Traditional Advertising
Digital signage is increasingly present in our daily lives. Totems, canvases, digital vinyls… We can see that these formats are gaining ground over…
Digital signage has changed, like everything around us. In just a few months, things have taken a 180º turn, and also our objectives. As digital signage experts, we had to analyse how this situation has affected our area.
Which are the new uses of our digital displays? How can we adapt to newer needs? Fortunately, if there is something that characterizes digital communication, it’s its versatility, and that’s what we’re going to talk about today! Let’s see how digital signage can quickly adapt to new circumstances and new environments.
Some of them we have already mentioned in previous articles:
These are all features that will surely stay with us for a while. But is there more? Of course! It used to be much more common to see purely commercial messages on digital screens, intended only to sell. However, we also noticed a change in this direction.
There are people who have lost a lot in this crisis, on a personal and economic level, and this means that messages have to adapt. We are seeing more humane communications: cautious, but also optimistic. This is perhaps one of the most notable trends, although not the only one.
At the moment, the ability to adapt is 100% necessary. We can’t stress it enough: what is valid today may not be in force tomorrow, and that is why many companies are switching from paper to digital: to have the ability to react immediately, if necessary.
More caution, more humane messages and total adaptability to change: this is how we could sum up the current reality of digital signage.
As we were saying, many companies that were hesitant to go digital are incorporating the latest technologies at record speed. This has made us adapt to any type of building and surface, to interiors and exteriors and, in conclusion, to any environment.
Fortunately, digital signage has evolved tremendously in the past few years. A clear example of this is our dFlex™, made up of flexible, light-weight panels that allow us to adapt it to curved surfaces and make it easier to install see-through displays anywhere.
